The map is one of the new Special Maps added in the update, though it is not seen when doing a random map game, and can only be played through the multiplayer. However, this adds to the accuracy of the map as countries maintain their dimensions. The north and south are blocked by cliffs and unexplorable areas. It is the official take on many Earth maps seen in the Steam Workshop, and features appropriate terrain for the biomes around the world.
